Rajat Chander, MDRajat Chander, MD

Dr. Chander received his Bachelor’s degree from Columbia College of Columbia University in New York, and earned his M.D. from the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his specialty training and fellowship at the Ohio State University Hospitals. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Gastroenterology Association.

Dr. Chander’s personal interests include technology, traveling, and watching movies with his family.

Ms. Kelly has been the Clinical Nurse Manager with North Raleigh Gastroenterology since 1998. Prior to that, she was an oncology nurse at Rex Hospital. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Masters degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. In 2002, she achieved board certification in Gastroenterology nursing with ABCGN, and she maintains her board-certified status by participating in continuing medical education courses. Her varied interests in diverse areas of medicine have led her to attain both Legal Nurse Certification from Duke University and Certification in Nutrition & Wellness.  She is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the State of North Carolina.

While not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and four children boating, fishing, and crabbing on the beautiful North Carolina coast.
